This is a key leadership position within a newly established operation, where the successful candidate will be responsible for building processes, developing the team, improving productivity, and ensuring operational efficiency from the ground up.

Main Responsibilities

1. Lead and oversee the daily operations of the warehouse and sorting activities.

2. Manage, develop, and motivate operational teams, ensuring productivity, quality, and operational targets are achieved.

3. Design, implement, and continuously improve operational processes and procedures.

4. Establish and monitor KPIs related to productivity, efficiency, quality, costs, and operational performance.

5. Organize workflows, personnel allocation, shifts, and operational resources according to business needs.

6. Work closely with the Warehouse, Sorting, Quality, Finance, and Sales teams to ensure smooth coordination.

7. Monitor inventory movements and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate and efficient product flow.

8. Identify operational problems and implement practical and sustainable solutions.

9. Develop a structured and efficient operation from the current startup/greenfield stage.

10. Ensure compliance with internal procedures, safety standards, and operational policies.

11. Prepare and present operational reports and performance updates to local management and HQ.

12. Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, cost reduction, quality, and efficiency.

13. Work closely with international HQ teams and participate in meetings and projects as required.

Mandatory Requirements ? Non-Negotiable

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in operational leadership, production, logistics, or distribution center management.

2. Experience in production, sorting, warehouse operations, or similar environments.

3. Proven experience building and implementing processes and structures from the ground up.

4. Ability to work in a startup/greenfield environment where processes are still being developed.

5. Strong hands-on mindset, with willingness to be directly involved in day-to-day operations.

6. Ability to make decisions with limited information and solve problems practically.

7. Experience establishing KPIs, productivity controls, and operational standards.

8. Intermediate to advanced English, with the ability to communicate with HQ and participate in meetings.

9. Availability to work in Amatitlán.


Highly Valued Experience

Experience in production plants, distribution centers, warehouses, or sorting centers.

Experience in textiles, clothing, logistics, or manufacturing.

Experience participating in the launch or implementation of a new operation.

Experience organizing teams, shifts, workflows, and operational processes from scratch.

Experience in continuous improvement and productivity optimization.

Experience working with international teams or reporting to international HQ.
