Colegio Capouilliez is seeking an English Program Coordinator to lead and strengthen our English Department. This role is responsible for ensuring the academic quality of the English program, promoting innovative teaching practices, and supporting the holistic development of our students. We are looking for a proactive, organized, and collaborative professional committed to educational excellence and continuous improvement.


Position Summary:
The English Program Coordinator will oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of the English curriculum across grade levels. This includes guiding and supporting teachers, ensuring alignment with institutional standards, promoting high-quality instruction, and fostering an environment where students develop strong linguistic, cultural, and social competencies. The coordinator will work closely with academic leadership to implement effective teaching strategies and maintain a consistent teaching methodology.

Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the English Department, ensuring compliance with academic standards and institutional goals.
- Supervise, mentor, and support English teachers, promoting high-quality pedagogical practices.
- Oversee curriculum implementation, instructional planning, and academic performance indicators.
- Facilitate professional development, coaching, and collaborative planning sessions for the English team.
- Ensure effective use and management of digital tools and academic platforms adopted by the institution.
- Promote innovative teaching methodologies and student-centered learning strategies.
- Strengthen communication within the department and with school leadership.
- Support school events, cultural activities, and initiatives that promote bilingual development and multicultural awareness.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, English Teaching, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a coordinator or in a similar leadership role.
- Proven teaching experience in English or related academic areas.
- Strong command and practical experience with educational and digital platforms.
- Ability to guide, coach, and support teachers while maintaining high academic standards.
- Excellent leadership, teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
