Revenue Accounting Supervisor

Responsibilities:
Supervise work performed by other accountants, including reviewing work performed and providing instructions/training.
Perform duties of the Senior Revenue Accountant or Senior GL Accountant, as needed or as a backup.
Evaluate accounting treatment for new transactions or changes to existing transactions.
Prepare account fluctuation analysis including investigation of fluctuation drivers.
Possesses fundamental knowledge of key accounting concepts, such as accounting equations, debits and credits, and basic financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, statement of cash flows). Have a general understanding of how to research technical accounting issues.

Requirements:
Having a Certified Public Accountant license is strongly preferred but not required.
General ledger accounting experience and/or financial statement audit experience. The experience must include revenue recognition and accounts receivable billing.
3-6 years experience
Possess fundamental knowledge of US SOX requirements including how to follow control descriptions and document controls.
General understanding of the 5 steps of revenue recognition in the US GAAP ASC 606.
Strong excel skills with knowledge on advanced formulas, such as lookup, index match, and pivot table and comfortable with large data sets. Ability to prepare presentations on Google Slides and charts in Google Sheets.
