Remote English Teacher C1 Level Required

Location: Guatemala (100% Fully Remote)
Contract Type: Full-time / Fixed Schedule (Not by hours)
Salary: Q7,000 / Monthly + Prestaciones de Ley

Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated English Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction in a remote environment. Unlike traditional hourly teaching gigs, this is a stable, full-time position with a fixed schedule, a guaranteed monthly salary, and all local legal benefits (prestaciones de ley). You will be responsible for planning engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and ensuring a structured learning experience aligned with our academic standards.

Schedule:

- Monday through Friday: 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Important: Flexibility for occasional morning sessions or occasional Saturday classes is required based on institutional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver interactive English lessons in a virtual classroom.
- Assess student performance, track progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare and administer assignments, activities, and evaluations
- Maintain high academic standards and follow the established curriculum.

Requirements & Qualifications:

- C1 English proficiency (Native or near-native fluency is non-negotiable).
- At least 2 years of experience teaching English (online).
- Proven classroom management skills in virtual environments (Zoom, Teams, etc.).
- Full availability for the afternoon schedule and flexibility for occasional morning or Saturday classes.
- Technical Requirements: Stable internet connection (minimum 20-30 Mbps).
- Reside in Guatemala and have immediate availability.
