Ingeniero(a) de Datos / Data Engineer

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join an international technology team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in building and maintaining Business Objects reports, working with stored procedures, and managing data warehouse environments.

We seek a self-driven, proactive, and quality-focused professional, capable of taking ownership of their work and contributing effectively within a small, collaborative team.

Responsibilities
-Develop, maintain, and optimize reports in Business Objects.
-Work with existing stored procedures and data warehouse models.
-Conduct code reviews and unit testing to ensure code quality and functionality.
-Identify and fix defects or issues in existing code.
-Propose process and technical improvements to enhance performance and efficiency.
-Communicate effectively and collaborate using Microsoft Teams or similar tools.

Requirements
-Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in similar roles.
-Strong knowledge of Business Objects, SQL, and stored procedures.
-Ability to validate and test code before delivery.
-Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and quality.
-Excellent communication skills and ability to work in small, remote teams.
-Bilingual English?Spanish proficiency required.
